flower hairbows with fabric covered button
easy & budget friendly
everyone knows that i am pretty obsessed with hairbows...
so here is an easy tutorial of one of my favorites to make.
you will need...
ribbon, hair clip, no slip material, button cover kit, flowers, scissors, scrap of matching fabric
beware: there are kits that cover buttons that require a tool - be sure to get the one that is all inclusive & you don't have to buy any extra tools! - it was about $4 at joanns
button done.
now on to the flower:
1&2 - remove petals from stem
3 - remove center bud from petals
4 - turn button upside-down & remove plastic pieces from between petals
5 & 6 - push the eye of the button through the hole in the petals until all are on
7 - optional - secure the petals with one of the plastic pieces
NO PICTURE: sew or hot glue the back so that the petals will not fall off!
