adorable bugs huh? brandon's aunt made these!

she used starbursts to create the bugs and used

oreo crumbles & dyed coconut for the tops of the cupcakes

"beetle juice"

well really it should be called "worm juice" {by creative juice...lol}

we created this by cutting up gummy worms & freezing them in the ice cubes

who doesn't need a little extra sugar in thier kool-aid?

an easy & cheap decoration but super cute & adds lots of color!

on to the activities...

each kid was given a bug jar

for all the bugs they find in the dirt!

(we used cupcake topper printables for the cute labels

& baby food jars with spraypainted lids)

kids were given all sorts of materials

(pre-painted, cut, & preped)

to build adorable bugs to take home

favor bags...

we used the cupcake topper printable again on the bags

& gave each kid:

crayons, bug gummies, stickers, coloring pages,

insect book, and bubbles
