today we are so lucky to have a tutorial
by my dear friend dawn!

she came over to teach me how to make this
3D christmas cookie tree

SO cute huh?

want to make one? 

here's how:

prep - 

star sugar cookies {3-4 diff sizes} frosted green

decorative "ornaments"

small yellow star cookie for topper

marshmallow "gifts"

assemble: 
start with a little icing on the cake stand to secure
add largest cookie size
add dab of icing
repeat.
{use each size cookie for about 5-6 layers}

tip: dawn taught me that if you use fondant you can spray it with pam to make it shiny!
{we did this with the ornaments}
