DIY tutorials from our BUG Party

FAVOR GUMMY STICKS

- start by picking gummies within your theme-
{we picked bugs of course}

- be sure to pick up some ribbon gummies -
{another cute option i have found is bubble tape gum}
{these make a cute base when you fold them back and forth at the bottom}

- i used bamboo skewers from target -
use whatever you want but be sure there is a pointy end & it is a skinny stick
{if it is too thick the gummies won't slide down}

- cover them with treat bags & tie ribbon off at the base

GUMMY STAND

- make your stand using tape, tissue paper, and a styrofoam block -

- I used a rectangular block from michaels ($2 with coupon) -
you could pick a different shape but be sure it is big enough to support the sticks
  {the gummies make it top heavy}

- wrap the block like a present & stick the gummies & favor tags in-

this is how they looked at the party
the favor tags can be found HERE for FREE!
all the printables were designed by my friend telisa over at sugartot designs
she is letting our followers download the favor tags
in this party package for FREE!

PARTY TABLE BACK DROP

this is just one of many ways to do this - but its pretty cheap!

- you will need -
a foam board (the largest one i found cheaply was at michaels for $4 with my coupon),
and either a plastic table cloth ($1 at walmart), or fabric, & some tape

- to give it something extra i used tissue paper to create a grass scene -

- tip: it was trickier than i thought... i had to use scrapbook dots for each of the grass tips & it needed to be double lined so you didn't see through it.
 i would recommend using a thicker material like wrapping paper.

- i added little lady bug embellishments but if i had more time flowers & a complete scene would have been my ultimate goal... next time right? well at least you will do it right!

happy partying & happy DIY
