tissue paper lantern from our

promise. you can make this. and it is super cheap.
here's how...
you need: paper lantern, tissue paper, scissors, and tape
1. get a paper lantern. mine was on sale at pier 1 for $5
2. tie it to something that is stable but allows you to turn the lantern.
{yes. i used a bannana hanger}
3. cut the tissue paper into whatever size & shape you want.
you will secure it as you go with the tape
4. start at the bottom.
complete a layer all the way around the lantern overlaping as you go
use the lines of the paper lantern to guide you as you make the layers to keep it consistent
tip: be sure your kids are napping.
yes. that is tissue paper stuck to his butt.
again - best to do this when they are napping.
done!
still trying to get at it...
he seriously stood there trying his hardest to reach it for about 5 minutes
so elegant.
so easy.
and all for around $7.
that's my kind of party craft
