my creative juice for this party came from the library -
aubrey's favorite book
who doesn't love curious george?
my daughter was sure obsessed.
from there came the party invitations...
a pancake breakfast play date birthday party.
i like to entertain for breakfast / brunch because the food is always cheaper!
and this time it really made sense anyways.
decorating tips: monkey she already owned, all the curious george books the library had, balloons(if you have seen the movie this make sense!) & bananas - all for around $5
food: i went bananas.
fruit, banana bread, banana cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, and of course PANCAKES.
(again, all pretty thrifty prices for a birthday party)
and good for the person who doesn't like to make a cake!
the entertainment: our bounce house. a staple at every party.
creative. cheap. easy. and awesome.
sweet party! you girls are so talented! thanks for linking.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute idea for a party! My kids enjoy inflatable toys so that would definitely be the first thing they'd want at their birthday party.
ReplyDeletesuper cute...but you should probably blur out your contact info on the invite...
